Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internships not counted)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters degree preferred
- Over 7 years of experience with at least one programming language such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- More than 1 year of experience with TAL, pTAL, and TACL preferred
- Over 2 years of experience with cloud services including AWS, GCP, or Azure preferred
- At least 4 years of experience with open source frameworks
- At least 1 year of experience in people management
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working within Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology initiatives and manage a team specializing in distributed microservices and full stack systems to fulfill regulatory requirements for the organization
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and contribute to internal and external tech communities, while mentoring fellow engineers and occasionally reviewing or writing code
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and an array of AWS tools and services
