Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (internship experience is not considered)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of expertise in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in a managerial role (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology projects and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to design solutions that address regulatory requirements for the organization
- Stay abreast of the latest technological trends, engage in experimentation and learning new technologies, and contribute to technology communities, while mentoring colleagues in the engineering field
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver comprehensive cloud-based solutions that create impactful experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS services
