Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- More than 4 years of experience using open source frameworks (preferred)
- Over 1 year of people management experience (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience applying Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse array of technology initiatives and manage a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that satisfy regulatory obligations
- Promote your enthusiasm for keeping up with technological advancements, exploring new technologies, engaging with internal and external tech communities, and mentoring engineering colleagues
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to create strong cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys
- Apply various programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside tools such as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, along with AWS utilities
