Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and developing data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing (Internship experience is not considered)
- At least 4 years of programming experience with Python, Scala, Go, or Java
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in building, scaling, and enhancing ML systems
- Preferred: Masters or Doctoral Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of practical experience in creating production-ready data pipelines for ML models
- 3+ years of experience with recognized ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, or TensorFlow
- 2+ years of experience in developing efficient, resilient, and maintainable code
- 2+ years of experience in data gathering and preparation for ML models
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- 1+ years of experience in guiding teams to develop ML solutions using industry best practices and automation
- Experience in developing and deploying ML solutions in public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex data pipelines for ML models and assessing their performance
- Contributions to the ML industry through presentations, publications, blog posts, open-source projects, or patents
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and deliver Generative AI models and components that address complex business challenges while collaborating with Product and Data Science teams
- Create and implement cloud-native ML Serving Platforms using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, KNative, and KServe to guarantee optimized and scalable model deployment
- Tackle complex scaling and high-availability issues by authoring and testing efficient application code in Python and Go, while developing and validating ML models and automating testing and deployment
- Apply advanced MLOps and GitOps practices for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) utilizing tools like ArgoCD to oversee the entire lifecycle of models and applications
- Use service mesh architectures like Istio to manage traffic, bolster security, and ensure resilience for high-volume serving endpoints
- Retrain, maintain, and oversee models in a production environment
- Develop optimized, scalable data pipelines to supply data to ML models
- Ensure proper code management to mitigate vulnerabilities, maintain governance over models from a risk standpoint, and adhere to best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java
