Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, Netty, Rust, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience using open source frameworks (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse range of technology projects and guide a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to fulfill regulatory requirements for the organization
- Foster enthusiasm for emerging technology trends, experimenting with new solutions, engaging in both internal and external tech communities, and mentoring peers in the engineering field
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Employ various programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes, along with a selection of AWS tools and services
