Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of expertise in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred)
- Over 1 year of people management experience (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Spearhead a variety of technology projects while leading a team of developers proficient in distributed microservices and full stack systems to devise solutions that address the companys regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for keeping up with technology trends, exploring new technologies, engaging in internal and external tech communities, and mentoring fellow engineering team members
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that provide impactful experiences to assist millions of Americans in attaining financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and an assortment of AWS tools and services
