Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (Internships excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, or Go
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services
- 4+ years of experience utilizing open source frameworks
- 1+ years of experience in a management role
- 2+ years of experience practicing Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Spearhead a variety of technology initiatives while leading a team of developers expert in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions addressing regulatory demands
- Stay ahead of technology trends, engage in experimentation with new tools, participate in both internal and external tech communities, and provide mentorship within the engineering team
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions enhancing user experiences for millions of Americans striving for financial empowerment
- Employ programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and Go, along with expertise in Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and experience with container orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
