Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience (Internship experience not considered)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
- 7 years of proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (Preferred)
- 3 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another service) (Preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (Preferred)
- 1 year of managerial experience (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of various technology projects and supervise a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to devise solutions that fulfill regulatory requirements for the company
- Share enthusiasm for keeping abreast of technological trends, exploring and learning innovative technologies, engaging in both internal and external tech communities, and mentoring fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver resilient cloud-based solutions that enable impactful experiences, empowering millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and an array of AWS tools and services
