Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (Preferred)
- 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (Preferred)
- 3 years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services (Preferred)
- 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (Preferred)
- 1 year of people management experience (Preferred)
- 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and guide a team of developers with strong expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to devise solutions that meet regulatory requirements for the organization
- Share enthusiasm for emerging technologies, engage in experimenting and learning, participate in both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
