Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software engineering (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: Scala, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred)
- Over 3 years of experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or similar) (preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in people management (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects while managing a team of developers with expertise in distributed microservices and full stack systems to deliver solutions that address the companys regulatory requirements
- Share enthusiasm for technology trends, engage in experimenting and learning new tools, participate in community discussions, and mentor fellow engineers
- Work collaboratively with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Employ programming languages such as Scala, JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services
