Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering (internship experience is excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- Over 7 years of experience with at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure
- More than 4 years of experience in open-source frameworks
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and guide a team of developers specializing in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
- Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by mentoring team members and engaging in both internal and external technology communities
- Collaborate closely with digital product managers to design and implement effective cloud-based solutions that provide meaningful experiences for millions of users
- Utilize a variety of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, along with open-source databases, container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services
