Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in software engineering (internships not applicable)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree preferred
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go preferred
- 3 or more years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services preferred
- 4 or more years of experience in open source frameworks preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in people management preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in Agile methodologies preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology initiatives and manage a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create regulatory solutions for the organization
- Stay informed about technology trends, engage in new tech experiments, and actively participate in tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers
- Work closely with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans financially
- Employ programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, using container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as AWS services
