Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Vue.js (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services (Lambdas, Step Functions, DynamoDB, ECS) (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience working with microservices and containerized architectures (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in developing high-traffic, customer-facing applications (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD practices and production support (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in coaching or mentoring engineers (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a range of diverse technology projects while managing a skilled team of developers focused on distributed microservices and full stack systems to address regulatory requirements
- Share expertise by keeping up with technology trends, experimenting with emerging solutions, and engaging in both internal and external tech communities while mentoring fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver effective cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans in their financial journeys
- Utilize programming languages including JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, as well as Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, alongside various AWS resources and services
