Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development (Internship experience not counted)
- At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: 7+ years of application development experience, particularly in Java or Scala
- Preferred: 4+ years working with public cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: 4+ years experience with distributed data/computing tools (Kafka, Spark, MySQL)
- Preferred: 4+ years on real-time data and streaming applications
- Preferred: 4+ years of NoSQL implementation experience (Mongo, Cassandra)
- Preferred: 4+ years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)
- Preferred: 4+ years of UNIX/Linux experience, including shell scripting
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience using Agile engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design and implement technical solutions using full-stack development tools
- Partner with developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
- Leverage programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, and utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases along with Cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
- Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, engage in internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineers
- Work with digital product managers to create impactful cloud-based solutions, enhancing experiences that empower millions of Americans financially
- Conduct unit testing and collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and performance optimization
