Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development (Internship experience not applicable)
- At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
- A minimum of 1 year working with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- 7 years of experience in application development including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) (preferred)
- 4 years of experience utilizing Distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL) (preferred)
- 4 years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra) (preferred)
- 4 years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake) (preferred)
- 4 years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting (preferred)
- 2 years of experience with Agile engineering practices (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies.
- Work alongside a team of developers proficient in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, and Cloud data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake.
- Stay up-to-date with technology trends, engaging in experimentation, learning new technologies, and mentoring fellow engineering community members.
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans towards financial well-being.
- Perform unit tests and conduct code reviews with team members to ensure high standards of design, coding, and performance optimization.
