Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years in application development (Internship experience does not count)
- At least 2 years of experience with big data technologies
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: 7 years in application development using Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
- Preferred: 4 years of experience in a public cloud environment (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: 4 years working with distributed data/computing tools (e.g., MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL)
- Preferred: 4 years of experience in real-time data and streaming applications
- Preferred: 4 years utilizing NoSQL solutions (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Preferred: 4 years in data warehousing (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake)
- Preferred: 4 years of familiarity with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in Agile engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions across full-stack development tools and technologies
- Work alongside a team of developers experienced in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Scala, and Python, along with open-source RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Engage with cloud-based data warehousing services like Redshift and Snowflake
- Stay updated with tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
- Participate in internal and external technology communities and mentor other engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and promote financial empowerment
- Conduct unit tests and code reviews to ensure high-quality, well-tuned performance of your code
