Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in application development (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: Over 7 years of experience in application development, including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
- Preferred: Over 4 years of experience with public cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Preferred: Over 4 years of experience using distributed data/computing tools (MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL)
- Preferred: Over 4 years of experience with real-time data and streaming applications
- Preferred: Over 4 years of experience implementing NoSQL solutions (Mongo, Cassandra)
- Preferred: Over 4 years of data warehousing experience (Redshift or Snowflake)
- Preferred: Over 4 years of experience with UNIX/Linux systems, including basic commands and shell scripting
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience employing Agile engineering practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions utilizing full-stack development tools and technologies
- Work alongside a team of developers who have expertise in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, as well as RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Utilize cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Redshift and Snowflake
- Stay abreast of technology trends, engage in new technology exploration, participate in both internal and external tech communities, and mentor fellow engineering team members
- Partner with digital product managers to deliver powerful cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Execute unit testing and conduct peer reviews to ensure your code is rigorously structured, elegantly crafted, and finely tuned for optimal performance
