Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of people management experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology projects and manage a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create regulatory solutions for the organization
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and engage in experimenting with and learning new tools, while also mentoring other engineers and occasionally reviewing or writing code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that enhance financial empowerment for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages including Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS tools and services
