Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience is not included)
- At least 1 year experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 2+ years working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 1+ years of experience in people management (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Drive a range of diverse technology projects while leading a team of developers with extensive experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to craft solutions that address regulatory needs for the organization.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for staying current with technology trends, experimenting with and mastering new technologies, engaging in internal and external tech communities, mentoring peers, and occasionally writing or reviewing code.
- Work alongside digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that create impactful experiences, empowering millions of Americans financially.
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration platforms like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services.
