Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience not included)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: Python, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, SQL, or Go (preferred)
- More than 2 years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- Over 4 years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- More than 1 year of experience in people management (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
- More than 1 year of experience using AI coding tools (such as Claude Code or similar) (preferred)
- Knowledge of marketing technology platforms (campaign management, content management, or digital asset management) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a variety of technology projects and supervise a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create regulatory-compliant solutions
- Share your enthusiasm for staying updated with tech trends, experimenting with new technologies, and participating in both internal and external tech communities; mentor engineering team members, and occasionally code or review code
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions that provide valuable experiences for millions of Americans seeking financial empowerment
- Employ programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala; utilize Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases; work with Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as various AWS tools and services
