Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- Over 7 years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or another cloud service (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead a diverse range of technology projects while managing a team of developers skilled in distributed microservices and full-stack systems to create solutions that address regulatory requirements for the company
- Share insights on current tech trends, engage in experimentation and learning of new technologies, and participate in both internal and external technology communities
- Mentor other engineering team members and occasionally contribute to coding or code evaluations
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance experiences and empower millions of Americans financially
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and various AWS services and tools
