Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience excluded)
- At least 1 year of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Master’s Degree preferred
- 7 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
- 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent cloud services
- 4 years of experience with open source frameworks
- 1 year of managerial experience
- 2 years of engagement with Agile practices
Responsibilities
- Oversee a varied portfolio of technology projects and guide a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create compliant solutions
- Share enthusiasm for staying updated on technology trends, exploring new technologies, participating in tech communities, and mentoring fellow engineers
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences for millions of Americans
- Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and a variety of AWS tools and services
