Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with a minimum of 4 years of experience in AI and ML development, or a Masters degree with at least 2 years of experience
- A minimum of 4 years of programming experience in Python, Go, Scala, or Java
- 6 years of experience in deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (preferred)
- Experience in designing and supporting AI services
- Proficiency in developing AI and ML technologies including LLM Inference and Similarity Search techniques
- Expertise in optimizing training and inference processes for improved performance and cost effectiveness
- Passion for current AI research and practical application of new techniques
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, research scientists, technical program managers, and product managers to create AI-driven products
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain AI software components across various functionalities
- Utilize a diverse range of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies for developing solutions
- Innovate and apply advanced optimization strategies for large-scale production AI systems
- Contribute to the strategic technical direction and long-term planning of foundational AI systems at Capital One
