Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in Software Development or Software Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in Network Engineering, focusing on designing and implementing multi-site networks
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Software Development (preferred)
- 10+ years of professional experience coding in languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, etc. (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience with Networking technologies including BGP, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Cloud Networking, and Data Center Networking (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience across the entire system development lifecycle, from conception to production support (preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience implementing IPv6 in the Cloud (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Articulate and promote an ambitious technical vision for your area
- Break down complex issues into actionable and operational solutions
- Ensure the integrity and quality of technical designs and their implementation
- Act as a primary expert on non-functional characteristics, including performance, scalability, and operability
- Persistently learn and infuse advanced technical knowledge into our community
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, optimizing your time for maximum impact
- Serve as a mentor and role model, enhancing the technical skills and know-how of our engineering and product teams
