Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in solution architecture or software engineering
- At least 5 years of experience with architectural patterns (SOA)
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience collaborating with business leaders on architectural decisions (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing cloud-native architectures on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience designing APIs, microservices, event streams, and high-throughput systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with generative AI coding tools to enhance developer productivity (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Communicate and promote a visionary technical direction for your area
- Break down intricate challenges into actionable and operational solutions
- Ensure high quality in technical design and implementation
- Act as a recognized authority on system characteristics like performance, scalability, and operability
- Engage in continuous learning and enrich our community with advanced technical insights
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, optimizing your time for maximum impact
- Serve as a mentor and role model within the tech community, enhancing the expertise of our engineering and product teams
- Investigate new cloud technologies and determine effective applications for them
- Create frameworks for cloud systems to facilitate new business projects
- Collaborate with technical leaders to shape technology strategy
- Advocate for cloud strategies, solutions, and best practices throughout the organization
- Lead by example, dedicating time to writing code and actively contributing to codebases in partnership with our engineers
- Utilize modern AI coding tools like Windsurf and Claude Code to produce quality solutions
