Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 7 years in software engineering
- At least 5 years of experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or Node.js
- A minimum of 3 years working with public cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Preferred: Masters Degree
- Preferred: 9+ years in software engineering
- Preferred: 5+ years experience in AWS
- Preferred: 5+ years in architecting cloud-native applications
- Preferred: Familiarity with event-driven and microservice architectures
Responsibilities
- Communicate and advocate for a visionary technical direction in your area
- Break down intricate issues into actionable and operational solutions
- Ensure the excellence of technical design and execution
- Act as a recognized authority on non-functional system attributes, including performance, scalability, and operability
- Engage in continuous learning and contribute advanced technical insights to our community
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, optimizing your time for maximum effectiveness
- Function as a role model and mentor in the tech community, assisting in enhancing the technical skill set of our engineering and product teams
- Decouple clients from foundational systems of record
- Transition clients to a core-agnostic GraphQL interface
- Provide automation tools to efficiently hasten client onboarding to the modern core
- Confirm that all client applications and use cases operate as intended after migration
