Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in data architecture
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in building applications using AWS
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- 9+ years of experience in data engineering (preferred)
- 3+ years of data modeling experience (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience with ontology standards for defining a domain (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience using Python, SQL, or Scala (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience deploying machine learning models (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience implementing big data processing solutions on AWS (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Foster awareness, enhance knowledge, and promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, articulating benefits for consumers and engineers to secure buy-in
- Find the right balance between sharing expertise and creating an inclusive atmosphere where others ideas are acknowledged and supported; utilize expertise to develop skills within the broader team
- Advocate for a culture of engineering excellence, leveraging opportunities for solution reuse and sharing
- Communicate effectively and influence key stakeholders throughout the organization
- Serve as a trustworthy advisor for specific technologies, platforms, or capabilities, assisting in shaping use cases and their implementation cohesively
- Pave the way for developing future Tech talent, mentoring internal individuals and actively recruiting external candidates to enhance our Tech expertise
