Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years experience in software development
- At least 5 years experience in managing teams of professionals
- Masters Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (preferred)
- Over 10 years experience in software development (preferred)
- More than 5 years experience with Agile methodologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee, lead, and expand teams focused on software engineering
- Provide mentorship and support for the technical growth of team members
- Collaborate with product managers to grasp application requirements and testing needs
- Strive for continuous enhancement of software engineering practices
- Engage with Agile teams to design, develop, implement and support diverse technical solutions
- Ensure the quality, availability, resilience, and scalability of the solutions
- Stay current with technological trends, experimenting with and adopting new technologies, while engaging with the tech community
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and creative problem-solving within the team
- Work to enhance the performance and efficiency of teams
- Spearhead initiatives to deploy new and existing applications in cloud environments using AWS
- Transition existing monolithic applications into microservice architectures and create new microservices
