Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of software development experience
- At least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing teams
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred
- 10 years of experience in software development preferred
- 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies preferred
- Proficiency in emerging and traditional technologies such as Node.js, Java, GO, and Python
- Experience with web and mobile application development
- Familiarity with microservices and RESTful architectures
- Strong background with AWS/Cloud Infrastructure and database management
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop multiple teams of software engineers focused on product delivery
- Mentor and support the professional and technical growth of team members
- Collaborate with product managers to capture and define application capabilities and testing requirements
- Continuously enhance our software engineering practices
- Work within and alongside Agile teams to design, build, test, and implement full-stack technical solutions
- Ensure the quality, availability, and scalability of developed solutions
- Stay current with technology trends and actively participate in the engineering community
- Foster an environment of innovation, diversity, and teamwork
- Improve the efficiency and velocity of both your team and others
- Oversee the deployment of applications into AWS environments
- Transform existing monolithic applications into microservices-based solutions
