Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software development
- At least 5 years of experience in managing teams
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred
- 10 years of overall software development experience is desirable
- 5 years of experience with Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and expand multiple teams of product-driven software engineers
- Mentor and support the professional and technical growth of team members
- Collaborate with product managers to identify and understand desired application features and testing requirements
- Continuously enhance software engineering practices
- Work across Agile teams to design, implement, test, and support technical solutions using a full-stack of development tools
- Ensure the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions
- Stay updated on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and engage with technology communities
- Foster innovation, the implementation of new technologies, teamwork, and diversity
- Enhance the productivity of both your team and others
- Oversee the deployment of new and existing applications into AWS environments
- Transition existing monolithic applications into microservice architectures and develop new microservices
