Applied researcher I - AI foundations & LLM

- Currently pursuing or holding a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related disciplines, or an M.S. in these fields with 2 years of Applied Research experience - Hands-on experience in developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source programming languages and cloud platforms - Proven background in building large deep learning models across various domains such as language, images, events, or graphs - Knowledge and experience in training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) - Engineering mindset with a history of delivering scalable models, considering both training data and inference loads - Previous contributions to libraries or platform-level code integrated into existing products - Track record of generating high-quality ideas or enhancing existing concepts in machine learning, demonstrated through first-author publications or significant projects - Ability to independently manage a research agenda, including selecting impactful problems and executing long-term projects - Passion for continuous learning about advanced methodologies in AI and their applications
