Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in integrating JDA with connected systems.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes related to planning and supply chain, along with configuration experience in JDA Demand, Collab, and Fulfillment modules.
- Solid comprehension of quality assurance and software development life cycles, including both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Proficient in various testing phases, such as functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience performing manual and functional testing.
- Ability to analyze business requirement documents and collaborate closely with Business Analysts and development teams to clarify both functional and non-functional aspects of applications.
- Skilled in creating test plans for diverse software modifications, inclusive of web services and web-based user interfaces.
- Competent in writing test cases and generating test data to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Capable of identifying, replicating, and documenting issues for the product team in a clear and detailed manner.
- Proficient in documenting test reports and/or defect reports, with a preference for experience with Jira.
- Experienced in verifying defect resolutions and carrying out follow-up tasks to address any outstanding issues.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Effectively communicate testing metrics, progress updates, schedules, and any issues impacting delivery, along with changes discovered during testing.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and informal setting.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with JIRA/QASymphony/Tricentis qTest.
- QA experience with similar planning and forecasting tools such as Logility/Optiant, ToolsGroup, etc.
- Experience with the latest JDA version 2019.1 in Demand, Collab, and Fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive testing by integrating JDA with upstream and downstream systems.
- Collaborate with teams to analyze and clarify business processes and requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans for various software changes, focusing on web services and user interfaces.
- Write and manage detailed test cases to ensure extensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and verify software defects, ensuring thorough communication of issues.
- Prepare detailed test and defect reports to assist the development team.
- Constantly monitor and report on testing metrics, schedules, and any impact on delivery.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing with broader projects and initiatives.
- Participate actively in both manual and functional testing to maintain software quality and reliability.
