Requirements

Must:
- Profound knowledge of Windows Internals, system architecture, and kernel - Experience with Windows platform-level debug symbol files or PDB files, including the generation and management of debug symbols - Prior background in security analysis for multi-tier enterprise/web applications - Proficient in Windows Debugging using tools like WinDbg, C++, C#, and Microsoft PowerShell - Certified in (ISC)2 or ISACA - Understanding of IT Security Compliances, Information Systems Security, and Privacy issues - Experienced in designing Threat Models and recognizing security risks - Familiarity with CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) or publicly disclosed bugs - Validation experience for Windows Patches & Security Updates under FIPS 140 evaluation - Comfortable with Azure-based tools, TFS, VSTS, VSO - Strong skillset in tool development, primarily for test automation - Proficient in debugging source code - Capable of working within a Microsoft Windows environment and addressing software/hardware compatibility challenges - Excellent analytical and fault isolation abilities - Collaborative team player with strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills - Experienced in defect tracking - Knowledge of NIST ACVP (Automated Cryptographic Validation Protocol) - Familiarity with Trusted Platform Module and exposure to Linux systems is a plus - Past experience working with Microsoft Security Teams

Responsibilities

- Debug Windows applications across various targets, identify issues, and ensure resolution - Conduct functionality debugging of Windows OS based on specified requirements - Investigate, rectify, and document any defects or issues found - Maintain a database of defects and produce detailed reports - Develop test cases for assessing software functionality and compatibility - Keep thorough records of test scenarios and results - Engage in Windows tool development, focusing on test automation - Perform source code debugging
