Requirements
Must:
- A university degree in Computer Related Sciences or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python backend engineer.
- Proficiency with established relational database systems, specifically MySQL.
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to document solutions effectively.
- A genuine enthusiasm for optimizing systems and processes to simplify complex tasks.
- Solid Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, along with effective collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with AWS, Apache Spark, and various machine learning frameworks and libraries.
Responsibilities
- I will obtain tasks from the project lead or Team Lead (TL), prepare functional and design specifications, and ensure approval from all stakeholders.
- I will ensure that my assigned tasks meet the established deadlines and quality standards.
- I will provide task duration estimates, align with management on timelines, and contribute to the project plan for my designated area.
- I will assess current data systems and develop best practices to maintain consistency within the system.
- I will update and optimize local and metadata models while evaluating implemented data systems for discrepancies, variances, and efficiency.
- I will troubleshoot and enhance data systems, understanding business drivers and analytical use-cases to translate these into data-driven products.
- I will design, implement, and maintain pipelines that reliably produce critical business data using cloud technology.
- I will address risks at the area level and create and execute mitigation plans.
- I will report on the readiness and quality of my area and raise concerns in critical situations beyond my area of responsibility.
- I will initiate and participate in code reviews, as well as establish code standards, conventions, and guidelines.
- I will suggest both technical and functional improvements to enhance product value.
- I will focus on continuously improving my professional capabilities.
- I will collaborate with other teams within the organization.
