Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- Must qualify for and retain Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred (substituted by 4 years of direct design experience with an Associates degree).
- Strong conceptual thinker able to transform research into engaging visual designs including typography, infographics, and custom illustrations.
- Ability to transition seamlessly between various topics and aesthetics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in crafting and comprehending User Stories.
- Skilled in using design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and JIRA.
- Experience in delivering detailed UI design solutions, including annotated wireframes and user flows for complex web or mobile applications.
- Strong client-facing communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about technology platforms that enhance user experiences.
- Familiar with the technical, creative, and development phases of projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop user-centric web and digital experiences tailored for government clients.
- Collaborate closely with external clients and internal teams on projects ranging from weeks to months.
- Offer strategic guidance in client meetings to assess needs, clarify requirements, and shape design direction.
- Incorporate client feedback to enhance designs, ensuring they meet project objectives and user needs.
- Organize and lead workshops to gather insights, align stakeholders, and inform design decisions.
