Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizenship required for government clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional background
- Over 8 years of experience in ETL development, SQL engineering, and database administration
- Strong capability in designing, implementing, and enhancing database architectures
- Proficient in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise data pipelines
- Detailed understanding of data security best practices
- Capable of monitoring, optimizing, and resolving issues in high-volume ETL and SQL workloads
- Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Review and enhance SQL code to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and compliance with client needs
- Maintain and oversee data domains, ensuring efficient and organized data management
- Supervise daily database operations and ETL processes, troubleshooting and optimizing performance
- Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information
- Integrate and optimize performance across diverse data sources, creating cohesive views for better insights and decisions
- Develop, refine, and manage VistA tables to enhance utility and performance
- Identify and address risks associated with data operations and performance
- Support both existing and new ETL processes, ensuring reliable data migration across systems
- Facilitate data accessibility across enterprise platforms for stakeholders
- Produce and maintain detailed documentation, including code repositories and process workflows
