Senior Database Architect - Azure Cloud

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of intricate cloud and cloud infrastructure solutions that adhere to Government standards. - Create and deploy relational and non-relational databases along with database services grounded in industry best practices. - Ascertain that database design and implementation are scalable, dependable, and secure. - Ensure database design complies with classified infrastructure requirements. - Provide subject matter expertise as well as practical experience in database design, solutioning, implementation, and troubleshooting tasks. - Specialize in developing, implementing, and maintaining Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes across different environments. - Oversee large-scale migrations to the cloud. - Manage and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to spot and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure and software applications. - Offer technical direction and mentorship to fellow architects and engineers. - Assess new cloud technologies and shared services, providing recommendations for their implementation. - Possess advanced skills in Terraform, ARM, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, and Python. - Showcase proficiency with containerized applications and orchestration. - Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to conceive and execute robust, secure, and reliable cloud-based solutions. - Guarantee compliance with security and regulatory standards. - Familiarity with DOD STIG compliance is beneficial. - Produce and sustain documentation concerning cloud architecture solutions.
