Senior Data Scientist - Python & Machine Learning

- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance - Required to work full-time on-site in Washington, DC - Bachelors degree or higher in data science, statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, information systems, or a related field preferred - At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience with data science, AI/ML, or deep learning responsibilities, with advanced degrees substituting for relevant experience - Proven experience leading teams to deliver quality outputs on time and within technical specifications - Skilled in coordinating with stakeholders, managing client communications, and setting client expectations - Proficient in designing and developing data models and algorithms for optimization and decision-making - Experienced in building and deploying predictive and prescriptive analytics - Knowledgeable in hypothesis testing and statistical analysis - Familiar with statistical relationship assessments between variables - Experience in performing multiple correspondence analysis (MCA), principal component analysis (PCA), and association rule mining - Practical experience with tools like Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and AWS SageMaker - Competence in programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, and Java - Familiarity with libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Spark ML/MLlib - Experience in managing large datasets in cloud-based platforms like Oracle EDW or SQL Server - Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt within a dynamic work environment
