Requirements

Must:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory - Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance - Availability to work on-site full-time in Washington, DC - Bachelors degree or higher in fields such as data science, statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, information systems, or a related area is preferred - Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in data science, AI/ML, or deep learning, including: - Designing and developing data models and algorithms for multi-objective optimization and decision-making - Building and implementing predictive and prescriptive analytics - Conducting hypothesis testing, statistical analyses, and probability assessments - Employing appropriate techniques to describe statistical correlations among variables - Executing multiple correspondence analysis (MCA), principal component analysis (PCA), and association rule mining - Proficiency with tools such as Databricks; Azures Machine Learning and AI Services; or AWSs SageMaker and Bedrock - Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, Scala, SQL, JavaScript, C/C++, and Java - Familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, mpi4py, Spark ML/MLlib, Jupyter, h2o, keras, or mir - Expertise in managing large datasets within cloud-based databases, data lakes, and warehouses like Oracle EDW, SQL Server, or MS Access - Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

- Execute exploratory data analysis to assess data pipelines and establish data repositories (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) as required for frameworks/models - Create custom algorithms, frameworks, and models, or utilize existing tools, libraries, and applications to tackle complex challenges - Implement data science and AI/ML solutions, developing methodologies to enhance scalability - Communicate and articulate findings while presenting solutions to clients and team members - Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on pattern analysis, predictive modeling, intelligent automation, GenAI, OCR, NLP, fraud detection, and other relevant business applications of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence - Stay informed on advancements in data science within both industry and academia - Contribute to the expansion of the Data and AI practice
