Must:
We are seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of hands-on experience in Capital Markets software development, particularly in C programming. Proficiency in multithreaded programming, as well as expertise in Oracle and Python, is essential. Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, web service development, JSON, XML, and DevOps pipelines is also required. The ideal candidate should possess experience supporting production environments, alongside strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Familiarity with Sophis, Equity Derivative Products, Risk Reporting, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will assist with the adoption of technology solutions developed globally by conducting user training and collaborating with relevant development teams to enhance user experience. Your tasks will include revitalizing existing technology to boost scalability, efficiency, and performance, and providing regular status updates to both local and global managers. You will participate in the design and development of tools and applications needed to support our pricing infrastructure and related business areas. Proactively identifying system deficiencies, engaging with technical and business partners, and determining corrective actions will also be part of your responsibilities. Supporting debugging and troubleshooting of system software deficiencies, understanding business requirements, and contributing to documentation will be essential. You will also be involved in profiling system performance, improving production support documentation, enhancing the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline of existing technology, and assisting with technology updates.
