Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, DevOps, or cloud engineering roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Terraform at an advanced level, including reusable modules, remote state, and workspaces.
- In-depth understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architectural best practices.
- Familiarity with Google Distributed Cloud (GDCC).
- Strong grasp of Cloud IAM, RBAC, and Workload Identity Federation for secure service authentication.
- Proficient in Python scripting for automating infrastructure and integration tasks.
- Solid knowledge of cloud security, including encryption, firewall configurations, VPC design, and service accounts.
- Proven track record in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment of Googles Edge Platform within our enterprise infrastructure.
- Architect advanced designs on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Master Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
- Create reusable and modular Terraform modules for diverse infrastructure deployments.
- Build secure and automated CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Spinnaker.
- Develop and enforce strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies with Workload Identity Federation, OIDC, and RBAC on GCP and GDCC.
- Manage Google Cloud-native services like Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
- Utilize Anthos and GKE Enterprise for overseeing Kubernetes workloads across multiple environments.
- Enhance infrastructure observability and logging through Cloud Monitoring and Operations Suite.
- Work collaboratively with application, security, and DevOps teams to assure compliance with cloud security standards and regulations.
- Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies in daily processes.
- Exhibit strategic problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Communicate technical information clearly and contribute to documentation and road map planning.
- Continuously monitor and improve cloud performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
