Requirements
Must:
- Currently enrolled as a junior or entering senior year by Summer 2026, pursuing a Bachelors degree related to the department of interest.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar, and Drive).
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Pursuit of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline required.
- At least two years into major preferred.
- Experience in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
- Basic experience with web-based APIs (REST) and familiarity with JSON.
- Some exposure to cloud technologies and services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience by contributing to significant work projects that support Canons business objectives.
- Engage in training, meetings, and presentations to better understand our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives.
- Develop marketable skills and knowledge beneficial for future employment.
- Work from the office three days a week with the option to work from home two days, adjusting as needed based on business requirements.
- Participate in software development utilizing various technologies for different use cases.
- Assist in creating applications that seamlessly integrate with internal and third-party APIs for enhanced user interaction with imaging devices.
- Collaborate with team members to investigate new automation opportunities and scripts.
- Apply iterative and agile methodologies in development efforts.
- Explore innovative solutions to problems and be open to taking on diverse tasks.
