Requirements
Must:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student, preferably a junior entering senior year by Summer 2026
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript with a focus on software engineering practices
- Familiarity with UI automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and REST API concepts
- Comfortable using AI tools for scripting, defect triage, code generation, and test planning
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a willingness to deepen SDET knowledge including framework design and coding best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Chat, Calendar, and Drive)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player while working independently with confidence
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, building, and executing automated test suites enhanced by AI for both UI and API layers
- Utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini) to generate test cases, enhance automation logic, create test data, and analyze test failures
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and lightweight frameworks utilizing Selenium, Playwright, and API tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI
- Engage in SDET-related activities like enhancing frameworks, creating reusable utilities, designing modular tests, and conducting code reviews
- Aid in debugging by reviewing application logs, stack traces, and insights generated by AI to uncover root causes
- Collaborate with QA, Development, and DevOps teams to expand automation coverage, integrate testing suites into CI/CD pipelines, and improve reliability of regression tests
