Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience necessary, with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic comprehension of internet environments and the capacity to complete the 120-day introductory period along with the Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations new-hire class.
- Ability and willingness to travel (valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required).
- Capability to work in a 24/7 setting, undertaking shift work and on-call rotations.
- Must take all necessary steps to acquire security and/or other clearances needed to enter customer premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maintain an active status more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, bending/kneeling).
Responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established methods.
- Service and repair assigned equipment in accordance with Canons standards and specifications.
- Maintain a working knowledge and aptitude for multiple product groups, including fundamental aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Meet and surpass customer expectations by delivering efficient, responsive, and precise Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
- Properly document all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property entrusted for use.
- Provide guidance to less experienced technicians while managing all technical information and Canon assets.
- Offer solutions for escalated technical and/or customer service-related challenges for any specified territory.
