Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience - Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in C++ with an emphasis on high-performance applications - Documented experience with OpenGL or OpenGL ES, including GLSL shader programming - Strong understanding of 3D computer graphics, linear algebra, and camera geometry - Familiarity with cross-platform development for Windows, Linux, or macOS - Knowledge of C++ build tools such as git and make or CMake - Exposure to Vulkan, Metal, or DirectX graphics APIs is an advantage - Experience linking 3D visualization with image processing pipelines or machine learning models, and in regulated software environments - Understanding of scientific visualization, simulation software, or game engine architecture - Proficiency with modern GPU profiling and debugging tools like RenderDoc or Nsight

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and sustain real-time 3D applications utilizing modern C++ and OpenGL - Implement and refine rendering pipelines, manage 3D geometry, and create custom shader effects - Develop features for 3D interaction, visualization, and simulation leveraging large image datasets - Integrate graphics modules with backend data processing and UI frameworks - Debug, profile, and enhance CPU/GPU performance across a variety of platforms - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that is portable
