Must:
We are seeking an individual who possesses a strong understanding of the Windows operating system, Office 365, and basic networking. Familiarity with remote support tools, such as Quick Assist, is also essential. Excellent communication and customer service abilities are necessary, as well as the capacity to express thoughts clearly in both written and verbal formats. A proven capability to work independently, along with strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills, is highly valued. Knowledge and use of tools like Nagios or similar monitoring systems will be beneficial. An analytical approach to problem-solving, an eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment, and some experience with Unix/Linux command lines and VoIP technologies will make you stand out.
Responsibilities
As a PC Support Technician, I will have you perform daily system checks to ensure that critical systems and services are functioning properly. You will utilize the Salesforce CRM system to manage workflow, respond to user queries through our ticketing system, phone, and email. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network challenges, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining laptops and printers. You will manage user accounts and permissions within Entra and Microsoft 365, document issues and resolutions in our knowledge base, and escalate complex problems to Tier 2 support or vendors as needed. Additionally, you will provide technical support for onboarding and offboarding employees, monitor system alerts, and conduct routine maintenance tasks.

This position represents an excellent opportunity for growth, as it serves as a launching pad for future advancement into Tier 2/3 Support, Systems Administration, or Network Operations roles. You will benefit from mentorship provided by senior technicians and engineers, and gain exposure to various cross-functional IT operations, including cloud technologies and cybersecurity. Please note that this job description does not cover all the activities, duties, or responsibilities required for this role; these may evolve over time. This is a full-time position, offering a pay range between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour, with an expected work schedule of 40 hours per week. Please ensure you are able to commute to Calabasas, CA 91301 as this position is in-person.
