Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Proficient in VMware VCF 9, vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and vRealize Suite
- Strong experience in architecture and governance
- Familiarity with End-to-End Delivery Methodology
- VMware certifications (VCDX preferred)
- Bachelors degree or 7 - 10 years equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 environments
- Create scalable and secure VMware VCF 9 solutions; produce high-level and low-level design documentation
- Deploy and configure VCF components; execute migrations and validate solutions through testing
- Monitor performance, implement automation using vRealize and PowerCLI, and optimize based on key performance indicators
- Enforce security standards, role-based access control, and audit logging
- Facilitate Architecture Review Boards, manage risks and issues, and maintain requirements traceability matrices
- Align virtualization strategy with business objectives; collaborate with PMO for planning workstreams and developing roadmaps
- Maintain design artifacts, capacity reports, and deliver comprehensive handover packages
