Requirements
Must:
- Active DoD Secret and Top Secret Clearance with CI Poly
- Hands-on experience deploying or supporting VMware technologies: NSX, vSphere, vSAN, and/or VCF
- Experience in secure, enterprise, or mission-critical environments
- Exceptional communication and customer interaction skills
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- VCF certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days before project commencement
- Capability to support fully onsite work at designated project locations
Responsibilities
- Facilitate VMware VCF deployments across various locations in the U.S.
- Perform onsite evaluations of customer VMware environments and offer suggestions on performance, optimization, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with Architects, Staff Consultants, and site leadership to formulate deployment strategies
- Deploy and configure VMware solutions, including vSphere, vSAN, VMware NSX, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Educate or mentor customer system administrators on VMware best practices and effective environment utilization
Description
We are CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned, mission-driven firm specializing in solutions and digital transformation. We are actively cultivating a pipeline of skilled VMware Consultants and Engineers to facilitate VMware VCF deployments across several U.S. locations, including Alexandria, VA, Omaha, NE, Hanscom AFB, MA, Tampa, FL, Miami, FL, Fort Huachuca, AZ, and San Diego, CA. This role entails project-based consulting with onsite engagement requirements that depend on project specifications. Consultants may work autonomously or as part of a small deployment team, assessing environments, designing VMware solutions, and enhancing VCF capabilities for our customer sites.
