Requirements
Must:
- US citizenship required
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, eligible for Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- IAT Level 2 certification
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Proficient in coding with a currently supported programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++/C#, R)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with source control tools (Git)
- Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (Eclipse, Visual Studio, JupyterLab)
- Understanding of cybersecurity and privacy principles
Responsibilities
- Develop, create, and maintain new or modified software applications and utility programs
- Analyze requirements and user needs to recommend and plan development strategies
- Conduct thorough coding and testing according to established standards
- Implement security testing tools and perform security code reviews
- Document program development, implement comments for clarity, and track revisions
- Collaborate with systems analysts and engineers to design applications and assess limitations
- Consult engineering teams to evaluate hardware and software integration
- Troubleshoot and correct program errors, ensuring accurate output
- Design and develop software systems using scientific methodologies to predict outcomes
- Create secure code with effective error handling
- Evaluate cost constraints and security needs for hardware configuration
- Identify common coding issues at a high level
