Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Linux infrastructure and cloud-native settings
- Practical knowledge in Kubernetes administration (minimum 2 years)
- Development and management of CI/CD pipelines (at least 3 years) using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
- Proficiency in automation with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash
- Skills in securing and troubleshooting distributed systems
- Understanding of DoD security frameworks including STIG and RMF
- Strong communication skills with a focus on mentoring
- Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Kubernetes environments
- Minimum 3 years involved in CI/CD pipeline activities
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable Linux and Kubernetes infrastructures tailored for government environments
- Advise client teams on cloud adoption strategies, infrastructure modernization, and best practices in DevSecOps
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD frameworks to enhance infrastructure operations
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and frameworks including STIG, RMF, and relevant DoD guidelines
- Diagnose and enhance performance across intricate, distributed systems
- Provide mentorship to client teams regarding Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, and secure cloud methodologies
